I read one of Tomo-san's co-written American books on traveling to Japan, but that's about it. It was ok, but it seemed to go more for the pop cultural-rather than the cultural-highlights, and those are more interesting to me. I haven't seen him much otherwise, but his friend likes to "represent" your country in his blogs.
